Adalid Muñiz Ruiz is a Puerto
Rico-born artist who has spent much
of his life on the East End of Long
Whether in Montauk, or his current
home in Puntar, Rincón, Puerto Rico,
Adalid is inspired by the sea and
beach life. His plein air painting from
the bright sands of Puntar attempt to
capture nature in more than image but
also in feeling.
Adalid studied art at the Worcester Museum of Fine Art in Worcester, Massachusetts. He
also studied with artists at the Applied Art Academy in Amagansett, New York, and the
Depot Art Gallery in Montauk, New York.
His work has been featured at the Depot Art Gallery in Montauk, New York, Guild Hall
Clothesline Art Show, East Hampton, New York, Ashawagh Hall in Springs, New York,
Tres Puertas, Rincón, Puerto Rico, and Taller Caribe in Rincón, Puerto Rico.
